serious firefox problem :/
firefox seems to have gone a bit weird on me,
first off: i cannot middle click anymore (the middle click button does work, i tryed swapping some buttons round on the mouse and it worked) but the actual firefox program seems not to pick it up. secondly: when i open firefox i get a load of tabs that are from my bookmarks toolbar, i have tried to get rid of my bookmarks and they have gone but the tabs are still opening. this is REALLY anoying me now, anyone know whats up? Nathan edit: done an AVG scan and a Ad-Aware scan and nothing's changed current extensions: adblock tabbroswer preferences download manager tweak foxytunes flashblock disable targets for downloads chatzilla mozilla calendar (sunbird or whatever its called) popup alt attribute quicknote web developer downloadTHEMall! Tab mix (i just uninstalled as i suspected this was the problem but nothing has changed :/) Last edited by darkside; 04-29-2005 at 06:47 AM. |

Not sure about the middle-click problem, but to fix the tabs loading problem, open the Options page (Tools > Options) and under the General category, clear out the Home Page field.

If tweaking the middle click option in tabrowser preferences didn't help, I would say your best bet is to save your bookmarks and just reinstall firefox. It is very easy to back up the bookmarks to an html file and then import them after the reinstall.
How to export bookmarks: http://help.sasknet.com/browser/brow...xport.ffox.php Import them by choosing import after installing, right where you chose export before. |
