Shared IP Address...

OK, maybe you guys and gals can help me out here. Here's the situation...

My girlfriend and I both subscribe to the same message board. The message board has a chatroom in it, but because we both use the same internet connection (but we each use our own computer), we have the same IP address, so we can't both get into the chatroom at the same time. This kinda stinks, considering we're both friends with alot of the same people on the board, and we both go on at around the same times.

Is there any way to work around this, without us getting a second internet account with a seperate modem and all?

Thanks for any help.

One or both of you could use an anonymous proxy if that is allowed.
