We don't permit Gmail invite trading in these forums, keep it to private messages.

You should also be able to sign up directly on the gmail site, although you are put on a waiting list. I got my account after 3-4 months of waiting on this list, just wanted to get my name before someone took it, have not even used it yet.

I wonder when they are going to get out of the beta phase?

Are you sure? When I log of gmail and go to the main page it still says Gmail Beta. Will they still give us the same amount of space when it goes public?

I was having trouble with one of my free e-mail accounts so signed up for Gmail with the link in my other post and when I got my conformation e-mail back from Gmail it said thanks for being a Beta tester. I just double checked and now can`t find where it said that.

Interesting...I wondered why there was no big annoucement. Guess they moved it back to beta.

they had removed the "beta" identifier from all the images and had an easily accessable sign-up form like any other free mail account.

Sounds like something that they did awhile back where they were randomly inviting people to sign up for Gmail off of the Google home page. I haven't seen that one in awhile. I am sure that there will be a huge announcement when it comes out.

kthejoker02 and Chiquito - evidently you did not read my post or chose to ignore it, which is #4 in this thread. This is an official warning to both of you, further infractions may result in a ban.

FYI : GMail FTP server

I just want to know more about FTP server issue provided by GMail.
Sum of my friend say this will be a great feature for transfering a large file.
Does anyone willing to share about the issue??

Talking Google GMAIL Account?

Silverwolf, it really is a great feature, and not only that Google is constantly adding storage space at no cost. I personally do not know too much about FTP
but you can google it!!! If you need an account, e-mail me with your name and I will be happy to give you an invite Not a Trade. Chiquito!!!
