Explorer/Mouse "Lock Up"

I just finished building a "new PC" - with:
Soyo Dragon Lite MB, 1.2g RAM, Celeron
XP Home (oem version I bought legally)
all the "critical XP Microsoft updates" (5/10/05)
Logitech Opti Mouse driver download

Then, while using Explorer, doing a browse or search - every once
in a while - everything will LOCK-UP, mouse dead,
control-alt-delete does nothing, and have to force
a power-switch shut down.

About the same time, I'll get an on-screen ERORR box,
about some "script line error".

HELP?
