Getting rid of this IST Bar?

Does anyone know of a program that gets rid of this IST Bar in IE. I've tried Spy Sweeper several times but it just rebuilds itself and starts bombarding me with popups. Really annoying.

have you tried ad-aware and spybot search and destroy? how about ms's anti-spyware beta? one of those will probably take care of it

Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta gets rid of it.

Try the "Removal" instructions about half way down this page if you have any trouble.

I went to the Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta site. It asked to download and install a Genuine Windows Validation which I did. It then said this version of GWV was outdated. My copy of XP is genuine. Anyone know of another place to get this program?

I can see why Linux is gaining in popularity. Windows is rapidly becoming unusable.

This is like being angry at an auto manufacturer because you start having trouble with your car after you hit a tree. Windows works fine, as long as you don't drive it into a tree!

as far as downloading it, just skip the validation, it gives you that option

Sometime though it's hard to tell when you hit a tree since the crash may take awhile..
