IE privacy settings - please help

Hi,

I've had a problem that I can't seem to figure out and would appreciate any help or advice. About a week ago I noticed that the "web sites" list in the IE privacy settings had all of a sudden dissapeared and the only ones remaining were as is shown in the following pic.

http://img264.echo.cx/img264/9467/iesettings6vg.jpg

There were probably more then a hundred web sites in that list, many I think were added by programs like spybot etc but I also added dozens myself for sites that I'd like to store cookies (I set IE to block all cookies except session cookies). Now I can't add any new sites to that list and keep them there. I have tried many things including removing spybots realtime protection and also spyblaster's protection.

Has anyone else had this problem or know what I could try to resolve this? Also were there any default websites on that list that I need to know about so that I can add them later?

Thanks.

Ok, thanks for that I'll check it out. However I still need to fix my main problem which is not being able to add any sites to the "allow" or "block" list to handle the cookies.
