Slowed Broadband connection

Hey everyone,

Ive recently noticed that my broadband connection has slowed down dramastically. I'm with NTL and on a 3mb/s connection, im aware that they are currently upgrading which could be a reason for the lack of performance, but other computers on the router and having no problems at all. It takes a while for anything to load, I cant even watch a >1mb movie. Ive done scans with ad-aware, spybot s&d, and norton/avg all in safe mode. Any ideas?

Thanks,
oso

Try a different router port. Reboot the router. Repair the winsock with winsockxpfix (Google it). Reinstall the NIC drivers. Try a different patch cable.
