Outlook Express problem

The last couple of times that I opend Outlook Express, I get a message that OE has encountered a problem and needs to close. I then close and try again, then it is OK. I then clicked on "more info" and I got the following:
Application name is MSIMN.EXE and the model name is OLE.32dll
Have these files been corrupted, and if so, how do I fix them ? Running XP Pro with IE6 and Outlook Express. Thanks, Mike

I would first run my anti virus and then Adaware and Spybot to assure everything is clean. MSIMN.EXE is the executable for Outlook Express which I believe is OK because you are able to run OE after trying again.

You may want to check this out.

I have run a full scan with AVG and at Trend Micro and no problems. Also ran Adaware and Spybot with Adaware only finding four items that I deleted. I keep getting that message the FIRST time I try to read my mail when OE is opening. After that OE opens OK ???

I think I solved the problem. The day before my problems started I downloaded the trial version of SPAMBLASTER or something like that. Not sure if that was the problem or not, since I did not have a problem the day before, I deceided to remove the program. I can now open OE on the first try. I have done that about 20 times so far, and everything is fine so far. Hope that was the problem. Will post back if the problem re-appears. Mike

I switched to Netscape Mail because it works better. Download Netscape for mail and newsgroups.
