Firefox & popups
Have had Firefox for a while, tho don't use it all the time, but updated to 1.0.4 and seemed to have no problems. I regularly use Netscape 7.1 as that is my mail program, too......but have been using Firefox the last few days a lot.
I have popup blocker checked, and am still getting popups here and there. In fact, I have only been on this site for about 20 minutes and have gotten 6 or 7. I never had a problem with 1.03 or 1.0.1.......and no way to get them back, as I have deleted those installers while cleaning up the computer the other day. Anyone know why Firefox's popup blocker doesn't work. |

your popup blockers are not always reliable. i still get popup's once in a while so its good to have adaware 6.1 personal edition. run it and it should solve your problems. or maybe disable the microsoft popup blocker it could be causing your problem

You could also head over to Mozilla and download the latest Pop ups must die extension, now that the ad guys have figured out ways around current pop up blockers.
The current extension is a beta but I've been using it without trouble for a while now.
