Cable hi-speed provider 'Firewall' any good?

The cable provider here in canada (SHAW CABLE) advertises a free firewal to all their customers http://www.shaw.ca/en-ca/ProductsSer...re/default.htm isn't it better to use a s/ware resident on your own PC?

thks in advance.

BTW Am using win XP
