Can't view Windows Media Player Videos in Firefox

I have Windows Media Center Edition 2005 so it came with WMP 10 installed and I installed firefox but I can't view any embedded videos or music. It says "install missing plug-ins..." but when I try to install it, it says "unknown plug-in" and doesn't do anything. How can I fix this? I'm using 1.04.

Please post a link to the site you're having trouble with and tell us what plug-ins you downloaded.

Foget it though, the people over at firefox helped me in a jiffy, so it is fixed.

Close Firefox
Extract and copy the files to to C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\

Restart Firefox and check aboutlugins. If it's still not working, move those files to
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\

Restart and try it again.

Also, see this for a registry patch. Note, this isn't directly related to your problem:
