Angry Plug-in problem CompuServe Browser

Hi From Texas !
I am getting frustrated on plug-ins. Man o' Man--these plug-ins are coming left and right !. Almost a plug-in in half the web pages I go to. There are places (web sites) I have been to in the past showing everything, that NOW require plug-ins . I have Windows ME but it is CompuServe I think here below is what I get:
COMPUSERVE
We're Sorry!
The page you are viewing requires special software called a plug-in. The CS plug-in finder cannot locate the plug-in software required at this time. We hope to provide support for this plug-in software in the future.

Does anyone know how to get this plugin to work since CompuServe can't ?
PROBLEM ALSO :A simple file is asked to be downloaded from a web page and I saved it to disk. CompuServe comes up and says it is to big for it to open it. Now I can't see what it was that the web page wanted me to see.----------------------Ol'e Donald

Use a 3rd party browser. ME comes with IE, try that - or download Firefox or Opera. I don't know what Compuserve is using for an embedded browser these days - depends on version I suppose. Just minimize Compuserve when you are connected and open the other browser.

Hi glc !
That is what I had to do glc, I sent CompuServe to the task bar and then went and clicked on Internet Explorer. No problem there. I will have to e-mail CompuServe and ask them "what's the deal ?, I pay $14.95 a month to you and you are un-able to let me plug-in to web sites that require a plug-in!". I sure would like to see their answer.---------------Thanks glc

They may be using embedded Netscape now (because AOL owns Compuserve and Netscape) - if so, you have to download Netscape plugins.
