Hotmail expired. Contacts retrieval?

My Hotmail account expired since I hardly use it. Now, I can't retrieve the contact list I have there. Is there a way to get them again

From Hotmail's help file:

"If you do not sign in to your HotmailSympatico Mail for more than 30 days, or within the first 10 days after signing up for an account, all messages, folders, and contacts are marked for deletion, but the account name is still reserved. If the account stays inactive for a further 90 days, the account name is permanently deleted.

Your HotmailSympatico Mail account becomes inactive when your subscription expires, but remains valid for 60 days and can be reactivated if you renew your subscription during that time. If the your subscription is not renewed, the account name is permanently deleted.
If you pay for a larger inbox, and your subscription expires, your inbox reverts to the size of a free account. If it is necessary to reduce your inbox, mail may be deleted."
