Outlook Express ?
Is there a way to summon the progress of a message being sent when using Outlook Express?

Do you mean the progress OE goes through when sending the message, or the status of the message (read or not yet read) once the message has been sent.
It should show the progress automatically, but it only remains obvious for a few seconds when you're sending attachments. As for status... don't know about that.
