Retreiving Outlook express messages
Windows must have been corrupted on my computer, as I can't get it to boot properly. I installed a fresh copy on another hard drive, and slaved my original. Now, I'm trying to get me Outlook Express Email and Settings off the original Hard Drive, but I don't know where or how they're saved.

Settings can't be recovered unless you previously exported them to an .iaf file. The address book is a .wab file, the mail folders are a bunch of .dbx files, location is dependent on what version of Windows you have - but they will always be under an Identities folder. The address book can be directly imported with the wizard, so can the mailboxes when you find them - you use the import wizard and choose from a store directory.

I'd recommend the following ..
create the identities and mail accounts (this will have to be done manually) on your new Outlook express. Go to Tools > Options > Maintenance > store folder button and note down the location you are using (lets call it C:\blah\) Close Outlook express Do a search on your old drive's windows partition for *.dbx; they should likely lead you to all the mailboxes. Copy the files from that folder into your C:\blah\ You can do the same for the windows address book file. Replace any .wab file from the new drive with one that you find from the old one. HTH |

Can you be more specific as to which other program you want to export it to?

That's going to be difficult - TA is webmail. Why not just integrate OE into the TA task panel? You still get all the filtering.
