cannot clear cache
hey,on my buddy's computer, we can do the "tools, internet options, delete cookies, delete files including offline history, clear history". But when you goto the address bar and start typing, addresses still appear. If you use the dropdown, nothing is there. So why is it not really clearing out?

What you're seeing is not the History reappearing. It's the Auto Complete feature. If you want to turn it off, look for the Auto Complete button under the Content tab of Internet tools.
