MSM Messenger
I just cleaned out a friends computer and reinstalled Windows ME because that is what she wanted, OK. Anyway everything is set up including her dial up account using Outlook Express. After OE connects, I get that little MSN Messenger Service icon down on the taskbar. If I put the mouse over the icon, it tells me that the service is NOT connected. How do I get that icon from appearing. I already checked to see that MSN service is UNCHECKED under Options when dialing up etc. Thanks !

I got it. Went to Add and remove programs, Windows components, and then unchecked the item that mentioned MSN. Now everything seems fine, do not get the icon on the taskbar anymore. Thanks anyway.
