How do I get my web page online?

I have a web page designed from MS Office XP. What is the easiest and most cost effective way of getting it online?

First off you'll need a webhost! - Someone who will host your webpages.

These range from free ones (some with low webspace and ads) while others charge a mere few £ per month and have huge storage and no ads.

The choice is yours really.

Do you have any recommendations of where to purchase this from and what $ range I'm looking at? This is going to be a simple web page with 6 or 7 linking pages attached to it. Thanks for the quick response.

Well it depends on how much space you want, do you want to pay for it or have (possibly) ad's popping up on your page if you opt for a free one.

Just google 'web hosts' and you see millions of providers.

Personally i use www.eukhost.com (£23 p/a) and have never had a problem with them.

Just see which one suits your needs best i guess.

No problem - good luck!

Just post back if you want anyone to look over a deal before you purchase it

I use ICDSoft here http://www.icdsoft.com/?hop=whratings.icdsoft just $5.00 a month and the best and fastest support on the planet. They have responded in seconds, not even minutes. Read some reviews here http://www.webhostingratings.com/ of web hosting sites.

I second that. I've been using ICDSoft for a few years now. Incredible deal and by far, the best support I've ever encountered.
