Block Flash
I would like to know if it is possible to block flash files on Internet.
I have some computers (win xp pro + ie 6) which are being used as a sort of internet cafe and the users are draining my bandwidth with these flash games (approx 300 - 500 MB per day). I want to be able to stop them accessing these flash files. I know that this will prevent flash sites and sites which use flash graphics and so on, but I'm not really bothered about that. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks |

How about you uninstall Flash player plugins and block the users from installing it again? That's probably the easiest thing to do. What browser are you using?

Might even be easier as well to just block the Shockwave.com site assuming you have some kind of filtering in place.

You can disable the installation of ActiveX controls by using the group policy editor. You need XP SP2. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro...2/mngieps.mspx
