Address Bar in IE

Hi, does anyone know how to clear the Address Bar in IE, in other words get rid of any links coming up when you type a letter? I tried clearing the history but a few websites and links still persist in the Address bar...

Also anyway to permenatly disable the address bar from "remembering" where you have been?

Thanks
Sonny

Go to Tools...Internet Options...the Content tab, then click on AutoComplete. Uncheck "Web addresses" and then click on the "Clear Forms" button. That should delete everything stored in the Address bar and prevent things from coming back.
