Freeze

Alright this is the situation: about twice a day my computer will freeze when i have 2 thing open at the same time. for exemple (2 Internet page open), or (My computer open and a Internet page open.)
My virus scan detected nothing. i also ran some anti-spyware programs, but could'nt find anything.

help, plz

When did this start happening?
Did you install any new hardware or software lately?
If I just started two days ago you could do a system restore, but if it happened for over a few weeks I wouldnt recomend a restore.

Your specs, including the psu look pretty good. What brand of memory are you using? Are you overclocking at all? Does it restart on it's own or do you have to push the power button and hold it to shut down and restart?

its Kingston 1G PC-3200 Dual Channel Kit.

no, it dosent restart on its own, the screen just freezes and i have to reset.

I always try to rule out two key pieces of hardware in situations like this without spending any money. Use Memtest86+ to test the memory by making a bootable floppy or CD and letting it run for two full passes. Then test the hdd by using Maxtor's Maxblast diagnostic software at their site. If both items show no errors, try disconnecting peripheral hardware like printers and disconnect the CD drives. Then if the problem is gone, reconnect them one at a time and test after each reconnection.

OK, the memory test shows no errors, i did the "past" about 5 times.
