remote window stops animation

I have a thumb nail that when you click on opens in a new window with bigger view of the thumb nail. When this new window opens an animated gif on the main page stops.......any ideas on where to find a new script that will do the remote window without stopping the animation on the main page, or what would be doing it

Several questions:

1. What browser are you using?
   
2. What is your connection type (cable, DSL, dialup)?
   
3. Can you post the link to your site so that we could see what you are talking about?
   

I would suspect that it might be a bandwidth thing with too many things trying to load at once. It would help if we could look at the site.
