Default Mail (web) program in Firefox and IE

I'm having trouble getting yahoo to work as my default email program in Firefox. It is apparently linked to a hotmail account that I no longer use, and whenever I click a link to email someone, it opens hotmail.
I've dled yahoo's program to make it default, but it didn't appear to work.

Any suggestions? Yahoo isn't listed as a email program option.

I would try running the Yahoo Default Mail program again. Only that will add "Yahoo" to the list of Mail clients in Tools...Internet Options. The problem has nothing to do with Firefox itself, it just gets the default mail client from Windows.

Go to Control Panel, Internet Options, Programs tab, then see what options are there for E-mail. If Yahoo still isn't there, then there is a problem with the Yahoo app that you downloaded. Otherwise, set it to Yahoo.

Nope, still not an option... I'll see if I can find another link to that yahoo app.

Could my computer prevent this change because of some anti-spyware program or something else I set?
