IE Run Time Error
I am a high school Tech Coordinator with a moderate level of technology expertise. Throughout the school, but especially in my lab, we are receiving a C++ Basic Run Time Error when we attempt to use IE. The Chicago Public Schools Help Desk has had me run 3 or 4 different anti-spywares, scan for virus, and download critical patches (in case those downloaded from the distribution server had become corrupted). Nothing has worked. This is occurring on IBM NetVista 6792 computers with a ghosted image distributed, running XP w/SP2, IE6. The problem began popping up in early September on several computers in my lab, then several more, now on 2/3 and occurring randomly on other NetVistas in the building with the same image. I've downloaded Firefox to my lab's computers, but the thought of having to add it to 75 additional computers at some point during the school year is one I'd rather not entertain. I don't know whether this is the right venue to present this, but if anyone has ideas, please email me Link to email address here instead on in the open, as I don't get to the forum regularly. Thanks in advance.

I edited your post to remove your email address from out in the open. As far as the answer to your question, have you checked on the MS site for answers?
Another thing to try is to turn off script debugging alerts in IE. Tools/Advanced.

Run Time Error Resolution
I received suggestions from several forums, but one in particular caught my eye. Someone suggested removing Google Toolbar. Which I did and have successfully resoved my problem. It was also suggested that I see whether a newer version of the Toolbar causes the problem again. I'll try that today. Thanks for your assistance.
