certain sites wont load for me?

im using FF 1.0.7 and when i click the home link at the top of this page nothing happens. the prgress bar appears to show how much of the page has loaded but it sits @ 0% for a sec then dissapears and im still on the same page as i was before. has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

this has happend a few times to me now but with different sites (www.firebox.com) was one of them but i can get on that now for some reason 0.o

i can use either FF or IE and the same thing still happens so it cant be a prblem with FF i dont think

EDIT: OMG !! i just clicked on the firebox link (just to make sure i could get on it) and i cant 0.o i get a new tab with the FavIcon in it put the title is 'Untitled' and the page is grey and blank :/ (which is the same as when i click the 'home' link at the top of this page'
