Unhappy Problem with Outlook Express and cable modem connection

As I now have a cable connection, I deleted the dial up connections - I hoped that this would get rid of the prompt that asks you to choose a dial up account when you start Outlook Express.
IE is set to use a LAN connection and OE is set to use IE settings.
However, now when I start OE, I still get prompted to select a dial up connection even there aren't any to choose from.
I cannot figure how to get rid of this prompt.
Can you help, please?

You also need to check the connection properties for each account. Change it to "any available" or "LAN".
