need help with I.E 5.0

ive used I.E. 4.0 for sooooooo long and just switched to 5.0 and i cannot purchase items off the internet. after i enter all the information and credit card number and click ok it says error VBs script or something.

i have tried the shopping card program 2 different places with the same browser and it did this same thing. I tried with I.E. 5.0, then 5.5, then nestcap 4.072(i think?) , then netscape 6.1 . netscape doesnt even get as far as the IE , it just does nothing when you click the *buy* button. At this point i have no idea how to fix this problem , i'm just trying to download different browsers and hope one works.

I'm not sure if this will fix it or not but you could always just try and upgrade to 5.5

i decided to order from a different web site(more expensive) but it worked. not sure what it was. IE is written in visual basic but i suppose it was the specific shopping cart program or something. What really sucks is like the day after i order my motherboard/cpu 1.2 ghz athlon and epox 8k7a for 247 $, the same mobo/1.4 ghz went down to 217$ or something. but i think the mobo can only handle 1.2 ghz but oh well this new comp should last me I hope.
