When surfing the internet, my browser times out all the time and my downloads. It's very frustrating. Anyway, going through the Event Viewer I find these errors all over the place. Microsoft help and error reporting hasn't really helped. They say the first 2 are related to print sharing being unchecked under LAN settings, but the option is checked. I'm using this computer wired to a Linksys wireless router, wired to the cable modem. My family computer is wirelessly networked in the room next door and they have the same problem. If anyone knows anything about these errors, help me out!

That's referring to the network browser service, not the Internet browser.
Have you tried upgrading the firmware in your router and doing a hard reset and reconfiguration on it? |

I've upgraded the firmware on the router and still the same problem. The pages sometimes time out and and I have to hit the Go button in explorer multiple times to get it to load. Is it safe to shut down the router's firewall for a few days to see if this helps? I'm running software firewalls on both the computers on the network connected to router. I'm going to try connecting the modem directly to my computer tomorrow. I don't know why I'm majoring in computer science. They really aggrivate me.
