has anyone tried satellite internet connections such as those offered by direct TV or what other companies offer it I am getting ready to move and don't think I can get dsl where I am moving to after being spoiled by dsl I don't think ill survive the pain of going back to dialup
I appreciate any info thanks |

I have the Direct TV/Starband Sat connection. I love it! It's about as fast as DSL, which is a heck of alot better than my only other alternative... 24K dialup.. ughh

ladytech are using dail return ie upload thru a modem or two way satellite i was thinking of getting 2 way but the equipment is very costly about 750 for direc pc or 500 + 200 hundred for what the web site says is mandatory instalation for starband
