Outlook w/ exchange2003 account not sending
Out of an entire network of PCs running Outlook2002 with email accounts on exchange2003, I have one PC that refuses to work. Outlook recognises and accepts the exchange user account, but no mail can be received, and when sending, it comes straight back with an "undeliverable" message. Anyone got any ideas as to why this could be happening?

What happens when you send an email to this person? Do you get an undeliverable message? If so what is the reason for undeliverable? Have they ever gotten email at this account?

I'm having a similar problem with one outlook client sending through Exchange. If he uses POP the emails go out.
Two messages are the following: 1) Reporting-MTA: dns;domain.com Final-Recipient: rfc822;user@user.com Action: failed Status: 5.5.0 Diagnostic-Code: smtp;553 Attack detected from pool x.x.x.x. (if he sends via pop it goes out fine whether he uses mail.domain.com or mail.isp.com 2) Reporting-MTA: dns;domain.com Final-Recipient: rfc822;user@user-inc.com Action: failed Status: 5.7.1 Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 5.7.1 Mail from site 72.144.191.132 refused (if he sends via pop it goes out fine) Should i set up a smart host to point to the ISP? Never had to set one up before. The problems happen via outlook web access as well. Thanks in advance. |
