please help, IE may be causing website problem
I'm trying to fix a website. If there are multiple boxes open on this particular site, they all close when the top window is closed. This is only happening on older versions of IE, and I can't seem to find the problem.
...if only the world would just use firefox. bastids. if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks. Last edited by haphsaph; 11-30-2005 at 11:11 AM. |

Hard to tell what you are talking about and not too sure what you mean by boxes, windows maybe?
Do you have a link?

(I'm relaying this information from my boss)
sorry, windows is what I mean. the site is http://wheretobuild.com and the problem is only happening on certain computers. I'm thinking it might be the damage left from a virus (an adaware and some other stuff scan was done on the systems to remove anything that might be there), but I can't find information on what type of virus might cause the problem. From what I know, the problem is only on this particular site, and only for two of the computers in the office. sorry to be confusing/vague I'm not a computer person, but I work for one |

It's nearly impossible to diagnose your problem based on the information provided. I thought initially that you might be talking about the window that pops up when you click on one of the states but that is not a window, it is a link to the full page.
Still will need more information on it. |
