BlackIce advICE problem

Hey Guys,
Got a funky problem. It could be something simple, but I'm not sure.Does anyone use BlackIce defender? When someone does a Port scan or any kind of scan of my system, Black Ice will pick it up and it gives you the info on them and what kind of attack under the "attacks" tab. There is an "advICE" button on this sheet that, when you highlight the "attackee" and click on the "advICE" button, (which is a "link" to the Network Ice webpage), it takes you to thier webpage with an explaination of what kind of attack was performed on your system. Not sure what happened to my system, but recently, when I go to click on the "advICE" tab now to connect me to thier webpage to get some info on the various kinds of attacks, it no longer connects to the page. Instead,a diolgue box pops up saying "program not found: This program is needed for opening files of type URL: hypertext transfer protocol. Windows cannot find mediad~1.exe.Location of mediad~1.exe C:\" It gives me an option of either OK,Cancel or Locate. Then an error "application is unable to launch browser. Please ensure that a browser is installed and functional on this system". Before, it used to automatically launch my browser (by the way, I have Cable Modem access to the Internet so I am always online when I boot up)I have two Browsers on my system, IE5.5 and Neoplanet and both work fine.BlackIce advICE button used to launch Neoplanet automatically, but now all I get is that message.I tried uninstalling Black Ice and Neoplanet and re-installing them, but this did not work. Somehow, the "link" on the advICE tab got "wacked" out, but how to get it to work again...???I tried entering the URL of the Network Ice advICE page when the error box pops up, but this did not work.Any input would help as I really would like to avoid blowing away my whole OS (Win98SE)and re-installing everything just for this!By the way, running an AMD Athelon 600MHz w/Win98SE on a "clone" PC.Thanks for any input...Kenny1.

res: Good advice, but that won't fix the problem of the broken URL association.

Try repairing IE. Neoplanet is just pretty clothes for IE. Open add/remove programs, select IE, hit add/remove, and then choose repair.
