Download Promt?

im using firefox and before i reformatted my computer when i clicked on many links it would first prompt me to download it to the computer. but now after i formatted my computer it just pops up the quicktime player on the page and views and loads it. i had quicktime before but it never did it.

does anybody know how to make it promt me to download it agian?

i really dont like it when it plays in a player because it makes it take longer and im not a big fan of watching things on quicktime

Try disabling JAVA script with an extension called No-Script. In many cases, Java is initiates the video without your consent.

I am not 100% sure No Script will do what you want, but instead, when you want to view the video you will have to right click > noscript > then click "allow www.....com"

It's javascript, not Java script as it has nothing to do with Java. Keep in mind that disabling javascript will reduce functionality on many sites.
