Im trying to decide if i should keep my 19.95 dsl plan with verizon. I Want to do some broadband heavy test like playing intense online gaming, etc. What can I do to test it?

You can test your connection speed here. I had a really poor broadband connection earlier this year and BF2 still played semi-decently. Your best bet will be to test it out for yourself and see how it plays out. Your system might be a greater bottleneck than your network connection.
