Protecting images

Hi!

How can I protect my images and files on my webpage against people who steel them? Is there a certain format I should save my pictures in or is the only thing I can do wright some text over and save it in any format?

Happy for help!

The bottom line is that if it is displayed in a browser, it can be stolen. There is no way around that.

Your best bet is to put some kind of watermark on each image, if you are very concerned about it.

Another thread similar to yours. There is code there to disable right clicking, but that doesn't protect images because people can still use the print screen option. There are a few other ideas on there too.
