Movie files, screenshots from games, icons, documents and the like that I can link to whenever. They would'nt be too important.

I hear Gmail stores 3.5GB of stuff. I doubt that GMAIL server could fail, it could but they back up their stuff.

for that type of stuff it may be better to consider maybe a dvd/rw drive and store all you want anytime you want and never worry about weather the internet is down or not,
and the internet does go down sometimes (ISP's) |

I agree bailey, Leogecko you could buy an external (USB) HDD and save stuff there. Maybe then store it somewhere safe, hook it up whenever you want it back.
