Apache Problems

I just install Appserv 2.4.3 version. the Apache server seems not working. when i type in Http://localhost:8081 nothing show up. how would i config my apache to show up the php page. best rgds

Try just putting in http://localhost/ - I tried putting in http://localhost:8081 on my end and it does not work.

i set the port to run apache on 8081 instead 80 that y i have to attach 8081 at the end of localhost. no matter which port number i put on nothing seems to work

Ah, OK. Apache *is* running, right? Seems silly, but it might be something as simple as not having Apache started.

What is the exact message that appears? Are you sure it isn't something as simple as a directory security or default page not found issue?
