Need IP of website!!

What is the command that can be run from the cmd prompt in XP to see a list of a website's IP for instance google.com's ip address. I am trying to test a DNS issue but for some reason I am blanking on this command....anybody know??

and below it will list - google.com [ip address shown here]...etc

No, I can't use PING because I am having issues with the DNS, so I can't use names of websites I need the IP Address.....there is a command to get it I am just blankin' out

Try this site - http://www.hcidata.co.uk/host2ip.htm

Put the website address in where it says domain name and click find ip.

If you don't have DNS, none of the commands, ping, tracert or nslookup will work since they all have to get an IP from a name.

The type of connection would be most helpful, i.e. Cable/DSL, Dialup, connecting at work, etc.

For Cable/DSL, SOP is to unplug your modem for a few seconds and plug it back it, then renew your IP on your computer, Start/cmd ipconfig /release
ipconfig/renew
you can also try a ipconfig /flushdns.

For dialup, you need to check with your ISP.
For work, you need to check with the adminstator.

hey some one sending me strange emails and yahoo online mssgs ..how do i'll come to know that from which place the particuler person is using internet and his/her pc identification
need to know that urgently friends
help me out
