Thunderbird mail
I have a friend who is having a couple of minor issues and I think they are because of some duplication.
Every time the program is opened this Alert error message comes up "An error occured with the POP3 mail server. Mail server mail.sbcglobal.net responded; When this pop up is closed, the mail system works just fine but it is a nuisance having it pop up all the time. When I look in Tools, account settings, Server settings there are two server settings shown one above the other The one at the top of the list is Server type: POP Mail Server Server name: pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com port 110 User name: sunbeam35@sbcglobal.net The lower list is Server type: POP Mail Server Server name: mail.sbcglobal.net port 110 User name: sunbeam35 Should one of these be deleted? If so how do I delete it? SBC uses Yahoo as a default home page and when the yahoo mail account was setup as an alternate I think there was an error made. Any help will be appreciated.
