There's a first time for everything and I now get to sign up for a newsgroup using netscape. The problem? Like how do I do this? All information is for the "evil empire's" stuff. I'm not kidding about this. Recent, court ruling or no, you'd think netscape didn't exist.
Instructions definitely needed. |

Free Agent is definitely the way to go for newsgroups - the built in news client in Netscape and Outlook Express is not that good - but if you must use Netscape it's not that difficult. Just put your ISP's news server into Netscape's preferences and use the help file to set it up the way you need. It's not much different than setting up an e-mail account.
Your ISP should have configuration instructions in their support documents. |

An added benifit of Forte Agent is that it's text based (no java). So you're not effected by the posts of script kiddies.
