Question Burn IE 5.5 to a disc?

Can I burn IE 5.5 to a disc and then install on my other pc? Reason being is other pc has a 26400 dialup speed and that would take 3 hours to download.

I would have to say yes. It is offered free for download off their website. I believe you'll be in the clear as long as you do not distribute or sell the burned copy. The browser does not use an "oem" # or registration # like many pieces of "single install" software. I do not believe you will violating any laws, or agreements. You can however, burn the copy, attempt to install it on the other computer, and read the software licence agreement when it comes up.

http://corporate.windowsupdate.microsoft.com

This will allow you to download the whole thing to a folder for distribution instead of doing the active setup.

Actually, you can do it from active setup, just click on the ADVANCED button, and you have the option of saving it to anywhere for later install.
