MSN Messenger - LogiTech WebCam Problem

I have a LogiTech webcam with MSN Messenger. Until yesterday, when I opened MSN Messenger, my own camera image showed up in the upper right corner of my Messenger window. Today, all of this stopped working.

I have re-installed the LogiTech camera twice. The camera works when I test it on my desktop. When I open Messenger, the only way to try to see my own image is to invite someone to a video conference. (My image does not automatically appear as it did before.) If they do not have the correct equipment to view, then my camera window immediately closes. If they do have the right set-up, while waiting for them to accept, the image in my camera window (where my own image should appear), is just a generic LogiTech image. There is now no way for me to see my own image as before.

What do I need to do to get this working again?
