Question Full version of IE 5.5

Does any one know where I can get IE 5.5 without the active setup? I need the full version where I do not have to stay connected the internet. Any help would help.

Just a thought but it will take you the same amount of time to download a full version (if there is one available) as it would to just download the active setup. Active Setup just basically downloads and installs the full version.

Have you tried going to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Internet Explorer and then click Repair? You could also just go to like Best Buy or something and pick up one of those free MSN CDs. I'm pretty sure they contain an installation of Internet Explorer.

Dig around for the free AOL cd even. It's got a full version of IE on it (branded of course). The branding can be removed easily.

You can as well write it on a CD. For any occasion.

Have a nice day.
