Hosts file...
Okay - I tinkered around with the HOSTS file in a HOSTS file editor and I accidently pressed "Default settings" and all the addresses are missing, except the "127.0.0.1 localhost"...
I'm a little bit worried, will it affect the computer's security? Please help me dispell my doubts.

Default is fine. The only thing the hosts file does is override your DNS settings. So say a website website.com has an IP address of 208.12.33.12, your DNS server says that IP points to that name. If you added an entry in your hosts file like website.com 127.0.0.1 , then that overrides whatever the DNS server says so that the it points to your computer.
What the hosts file is often used for nowadays is to override some of the adware/spyware sites IP addresses so that things like pop-ups and tracking cookies won't work.

I don't believe that Spyware Blaster does anything to the hosts file. Spybot S&D adds to it.

The_YongGrand, not to worry. The default HOSTS file should be fine.
