Question about Outlook, uploading messages to a mailbox…
I never use Outlook but I decided to play around with it on another machine I have, well I set it up and downloaded by inbox. Little did I know that it actually removes all the e-mails from my actual inbox online. Is there anyway I can upload them back to my inbox?

If the messages are still in your trashcan, you can simply select them, right click and select "Move to Folder". Choose your inbox and they will go back.

There is an option in Outlook that is on by default that removes messages from the serevr automatically when you send/receive. Click here for info on how to enable it. Below the article you can click the type of email account you have and thee will be instructions to change the setting.

You are going to have to enable "leave copy of messages on server" in Outlook - then forward each and every message back to yourself.

No you don't have to do that. Simply look for your Outlook.pst file (its somewhere in the C:\Documents\Adminstrator\Settings ... folder) and copy the entire thing over to the same directory in the new PC.
Outlook, when run on the new PC, will automatically take it as your current mail file. |

Thanks I got it worked out, I made it keep the messages on the server and I just e-mailed my messages to myself, there were only like 8 or so that I needed so it was not a big deal.
