Question MSN Instructions

Looking for instructions (text or a URL) on the steps to configure IE 5.5 and Outlook 2000 for use with a dial-up 56k, Microsoft Network (msn.com) account. They apparently are hiding them somewhere!! Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, Bill Perry

Send a message via ICQ to HackinCowboy
MSN uses their own login software. I don't think they let you just create a Dial Up Connection. If you install their software it will configure IE to dial to MSN whenever there is no connection. It will also automatically configure Outlook. You need to be careful though. The new version of MSN uses POP3 (Internet) e-mail. So if you're using the newer version you won't be able to use Outlook. You have to use MSN's POP3 e-mail.
