Alright. This has been going on for about a week now, and i haven't found a way around it yet.
When I open Internet Explorer (or Firefox, seeing as how it's superiority might bypass the problem), i can browse sights. But as soon as i go to any sort of site with a RealPlayer video window, or could possibly be Quicktime, my browser just crashes me to desktop, closing any other IE or Windows Explorer window i have open, then acts completely fine, until i try to open another page with such things. Example: If i go to MySpace, i can click "Play" on one of the MySpace Specific Song Playlists, and play the song fine. But it seems any site with imbedded Video or Audio keeps crashing my browser. I haven't updated anything on my computer within that week or so, so i'm fairly confident it wasn't a XP update or anything. Any ideas on how to stop this from happening? I'm currently running the following... 2.2 Ghz AMD Athlon 128mb Geforce 4 Ti 4400 512 megabytes of DDR Ram 2nd to Latest Nvidia Drivers. If i'm missing anything important, please tell me. |

Sounds like it might be a file association problem. Have you tried unassociating those file types with Windows and then trying to open them again (reconfiguring the file associations at that time). It may also be a Plugin conflict -- try about
lugins and see if there are any plugins loaded.
