From bad to worse.........
Two of our least favorite pieces of software to deal with are AOL and Norton products. I called AOL today to cancel my longstanding mail boxes due to an announced price increase and had to smile when I heard the prerecorded message that greeted me. Something to the effect that anyone using Norton products that is experiencing problems with their AOL connection should call another number. This was caused by a Norton update that was released on 3-15. Apparantly AOL has been deluged with calls. Just one more reason neither of these will make it on any of my computers - or on my "recommended" list. McAfee had their issues earlier this month and now Norton steps in it too! If you'd like to hear the actual message, here's the number: 888-265-8008

Wow, Norton and AOL having problems...who would've thought. I might give it a call just to have a laugh.

Reminds me of the McAfee definition update that branded MS Office, among other programs, as an intrusion. Way to go!
