Weird Problem Driving Me crazy

I have a mindboggling and extremely frustrating phenomena occurring with IE 6.0. I have tried nothing yet because I have rarely experienced a problem with IE before so I am throwing it out there to see if anyone else has had a similar problem before I start digging. I come to the PCMECH home page and there is a delay where I get only the heading on the page then that disappears and the page loads normally. I click on forums and it loads normally. Then I click on new posts as I usually do and it loads and then quickly appears to be reloading and goes blank for about 10 seconds, Then the page loads. This repeats for each page I load and each thread I try to read. Just as I start to read the post it will disappear for ten seconds and then it will re-appear. If you have ever been reading something and had it ripped from your hands you know what I mean by frustrating. It only happens on the PCMECH site although I dont visit a great deal of sites regularly. It doesn't happen on other PHP sites. Any help would be great. Thanx

Been there have the tshirt...Do you have a large custom HOST file? I added one last weekend and experienced the exact same problems. The host file caused all sorts of issues so I removed it.
