FTP Client Recommendations? How do I use Frontpages?
What is my best option? I would like to purchase an FTP Client to use. I have looked into CuteFTP, SmartFTP and Frontpages. Which would I be better off with?
If I were to use the built in FTP Client within Frontpage 2003, how do I use it? I am having trouble trying to access it. I have looked through my Inside Out Frontpage 2003 book, but it doesnt really help me. Thnx, AK

If you use the FTP built into Frontpage, the server you are uploading the files onto must have support for uploading using FP.

I believe the newer versions of FrontPage use WebDAV. Your host would have to support this.
I'm with GLC though, use either Filezilla or Internet Explorer as a simple FTP client. |

I would also recommend FileZilla, it's easy to use and I haven't had any problems with it. I wouldn't use IE's built in FTP as I have come across a lot of problems with it that weren't due to my server. That was one of the reasons I switched to FileZilla.
